fotogalleriet [format]s främsta uppgift är att visa konst- och dokumentär fotografi av hög kvalité.

Galleriet skall vara ett forum för fotografi i södra Sverige och hjälpa till att undersöka fotografiets användningsområden genom samarbeten, curerande verksamhet, kringarrangemang och förstås utställningsverksamheten. [format] skall vara en resurs både som förening och med hjälp av lokalen gentemot resten av Malmös kulturliv.

Galleriet drivs idéellt och lejonparten av galleriets resurser är bidrag från Malmö Stad.

About fotogalleriet [format]

fotogalleriet [format]s primary role is to show art- and documentary photography of high quality.

The gallery works as a forum for photography in southern Sweden and helps to explore the use of photography through collaborations, curatorial work, related events and of course through the exhibitions. [format] works as a resource both as an organization and with the exhibition space in relation to the rest of the culture life in Malmö.

The gallery is run on a nonprofit basis and is funded by grants from Malmö municipality.
